Department formed in1998, has taught A Level exclusively until 2009. Currently two GCSE and three A Level classes.

Subject expansion is highly likely as we move into the 21st century in other Areas e.g. Business & Communication


GCSE Business Studies is a very useful and applicable subject.I

t touches on all areas of Business e.g. Marketing, External Influences etc.

Examines a wide range of businesses with high profiles such as Vodafone and Marks & Spencers etc.

This course has a highly modern application to REAL life

Marketing, Accounts & Finance being two of the major areas. It is a subject with a wide number of choices available for third level education.

Other Business areasm available at the College include ‘Young Enterprise’- Setting up and running a real firm.

You don’t even have to study Business Studies to be part of this team!!!
