The SEP is a three year programme which aims to encourage schools to make cross-sectoral collaborations an integral part of school life, creating enhanced educational and personal development opportunities for everyone involved.
St. Malachy's College has a Specialist Status in Music but the Sharing Education Programme is also based around our other strength - Sports.
The College was set up as the 'Hub' school for sports as the Belfast Schools Sports Partnership and involves secondary schools such as Hazelwood Integrated College, Belfast Boys’ Model, St. Dominic’s High School & the Royal Belfast Academic Institution.

As well as this we involve primary schools such as St. MacNissi’s P.S, Our Lady of Lourdes(Park Lodge) P.S, Ashgrove P.S, Whitehouse P.S and St. James P.S as well as participants from Glenveagh Special School.
As part of the Belfast Schools Sports Partnership many events have taken place and many more will be organised for the future.
