The SEP is a three year programme which aims to encourage schools to make cross-sectoral collaborations an integral part of school life, creating enhanced educational and personal development opportunities for everyone involved.

At St. Malachy's College we have Specialist Status in Music. St. Malachy's College has a long and distinguished history in the area of Music and as part of the Sharing Education Programme we try to create sustainable links in this area so that young people may learn music collaboratively.

We also encourage collaboration through Sport by means of the Belfast Schools Sports Partnership through the provision of excellent quality physical education and sport, sharing facilities and coaching as well as teaching and learning.

As mentioned above St. Malachy's College promotes the Shared Education Programme through both its Music Specialism and the Belfast Schools Sports Partnership.
