AS Geography Fieldwork

Thirty-one Year 13 AS Geography students took part in a two day residential fieldwork trip to Derrygonnelly FSC in County Fermanagh on the 8th & 9th of March. The first day was spent on a river study investigation. This involved taking measurements from the River Sillees that forms part of their AS module 3 examination in June. The second day was spent recording changes to the sand dunes at the spectacular Mullaghmore, County Sligo. This provided the students with a hands on experience of one of their important case studies in the Physical Geography module.
