Would you like to win an all-expenses paid trip to the European Parliament in Strasbourg in January?

Mrs McAlinden invites applications for the Rotary Youth Leadership Competition from Year 13 and 14. The process involves:

• Completing an application form by Thursday 13th of November (Forms are available today from Mrs McAlinden in B3)

• School representative will be selected by Monday 17th of November

• Interview by members of the Rotary Club (Club Final) are schedules to take place on Tuesday 18th November 2014.

• Successful applicants must be available for a second interview in December (Regional Final), where three winners will be selected from a pool of nine to enjoy an all expenses trip to the European Parliament in Strasbourg.

(Applicants must be over 16 years of age and less than 18 years of age on the 31st March 2015)

Mrs McAlinden notes that ‘St Malachy’s has been very successful in this competition in the past’ and that the current Year 13 and 14 groups have ‘a wide range of experiences that have contributed to developing their leadership potential - making them more than eligible to apply for this fantastic opportunity’.
