The College’s eco warriors have been busy throughout term one tackling waste issues and encouraging recycling throughout the school. Fortnightly, the team are out and about at break and lunch time collecting and emptying recycling boxes placed in each classroom.
Today, under the direction of Ms Marcus, they turned their hand to a spot of carpentry, making sure that local birds were well fed this winter. Using recycled plastic tubs and string, the boys created a ‘delicious’ recipe of lard, seed and dried fruit. Mrs Moorehead even joined them and made a few cakes for her birds at home.
Keep up the great work team!
