Jonny Johnston, TCD Northern Ireland Engagement Programme Coordinator and past pupil and current Trinity Law student Paul McNamee visited the College on Wednesday 13th January to address a group of final year pupils as they explore their options for studying ‘down South’.

As well as referring to facilities, courses and the CAO application system, Mr Johnston explained the ‘Feasibility Study for A’Level Admission’ which is continues to be in place for pupils applying from Northern Ireland for 2016 entry.

Paul, now in his final year enthused our pupils by providing a very positive student perspective on studying at Trinity College Dublin. As well as referring to the structure of his course he described the new experiences he enjoyed as he met and made friends in the Halls of Residence during his first year at university and the exciting opportunities he has taken advantage of since then. His advice to Year 14 pupils is to seriously consider higher education opportunities in the South.
