Celebrating St Luke's Day - Mater Hospital

On Tuesday 18th October a number of musicians and singers joined the staff and some patients at the Mater Hospital to celebrate St Luke’s Day.

The chaplains were launching a new prayer book and a special service was arranged. Our students played incidental music and sang as the people gathered and had some refreshments. The choir then led the hymn singing during the service. Everyone was invited for lunch following the service and the staff were thrilled with the contribution from the students.

Many spoke of the link with such a near neighbour and hoped that there would be more events like this!
