The College Orchestra and Senior Strings were both awarded first place in their classes at the Ballymena Music Festival on Wednesday 21 February.

The boys were praised on the quality of their performances and for beautiful solos given by Darragh Conlon, Adam McCambridge and Colm Mohan. The percussion section were also delighted to be described as "outstanding"!

Competition was tough; both BRA and Ballymena Academy gave very solid performances. The boys thoroughly deserved both of their wins after all their hard work. Well done, lads; we will be back to defend our titles next year!
