LLW Trip to Stormont

On 8th October the first GCSE LLW class in the College made history by visiting Parliament buildings at Stormont.

It was a very interesting morning and the students had the opportunity to tour the building, take part in a mock debate in the chamber and meet one of their MLA’s Nicola Mallon.

It was extremely valuable for the students to take part in this event as the study of government and democracy is a key element of their Local and Global Citizenship module.
