Just before the mid-term break, all Year 12 students had the opportunity to take part in an ‘Amazing Brains’ workshop in the College Hall.

Students looked at different learning styles, participated in memory games, did brain teasers and even wrote their own mnemonics to help memorise key information about a chosen topic!

Mrs Devlin (Head of Year) said that ‘it was wonderful to see the students so engaged’ and that ‘hopefully they will put these skills in to practice when revising for their GCSE mock examinations at the beginning of December as well as their final examinations in May and June’.
