St. Malachy's students rise to the challenge at the Bar Mock competition!

St Malachy's College, Belfast

St Malachy’s students rose to the challenge with an impressive performance at the Royal Courts of Justice for this year’s Bar Mock Trial competition. The team faced tough competition in all three rounds but remained focused and poised throughout. Each team member performed their individual roles with impressively convincing flair and remarkable dignity. The judges commended our barristers for their confident, calm and controlled approach and remarked on the highly convincing and composed performances our witnesses gave.

Congratulations to all the participants: Colm Mohan and Caelan Stow (Prosecution Barristers), Oisin Donaghy and Caolan McKee (Defence Barristers), Brian Rogers, Matthew Breen, Daniel McGonigle and Declan O’Hare (witnesses), Cormac McSparron and James Crummey (Clerk and Usher), Ruairi Kelly, Kieran Trainor O’Neill, Eoin Trainor O’Neill and Padraig Dorman (jurors).
