The Artist Robert Peters visited the Art Department on the 3 May to run a workshop with the Year 13 and 14 Art and Design students. He introduced them to a new Salt Etch printmaking process. It was a busy day as the students had to prepare aluminium plates and etch them in a copper sulphate/salt solution. Then they had to make a dry point print and then ink both plates up. They created some really beautiful prints and Robert Peters was very impressed with their creativity and focus.
