Year 10 students enjoyed a morning of music making on Wednesday, 22nd of October when Danny Ross from iTeach visited the Music Department.

Pupils used Garageband and in particular the Smart Instruments feature of the App to create an original four chord composition over which they could sing a variety of pop songs.

After a demonstration and discussion of the types of arrangements that could be created, the budding composers took to their iPads. Ms Lowry (Head of Music) commended the boys for their ‘excellent musical endeavours’.

At the end of the session students were able to share their creations with the rest of the class.
