Success at Gael Linn public speaking competition!
On 19th March, Oisin Thompson, Rory Brolly and Eoin O'Hare spoke at Gael Linn's public speaking competition in Rathmore Grammar School. Rory spoke about the modern demands of playing Gaelic Games and Eoin O'Hare spoke about Boko Haram. Both boys spoke excellently and were highly praised by the judges. However, there was one St Malachy's man who stole the show with his rant about Reality TV 'Stars'. Oisin Thompson was the overall winner of the GCSE category, beating off competition from all the other local schools in Belfast. He will now go on to represent the College in the Ulster Final later this month at An Carn, Maghera. Comhghairdeas a Oisín!
