'Voices in Unity' Choir visit to Paris

The joint choir of St Malachy’s and Hazelwood College, Voices in Unity, travelled to Paris last Friday (19th June) for a five day concert tour of the city. The choir sang at a variety of venues including: a park beside Notre Dame, a residential home run by the Soeurs de Pauvre and on the Royal Castle stage at Disneyland. There were lots of people at the concerts who told us how much they enjoyed our performances.

Other highlights of the tour involved a walk dawn Champs Elysee, lunch at the Louvre, and trips to the Tour Eiffel, Notre Dame and Sacre Coeur. Students also enjoyed shopping in Montmartre and a river cruise on the Seine.

Ms Lowry noted that ‘the eighteen students and three staff had a most enjoyable and memorable experience and everyone wants to go back to Paris right away’.
