The St. Malachy’s Bar Mock Trial team demonstrated verbal prowess and quick witted skill in a competitive group at the Royal Belfast Courts on Saturday, 19th November. As usual the standard of competition was extremely high and each team member performed their individual roles as barrister, witness, clerk and jury members with convincing, if not unforgettable, flair. A big thank-you to our barrister, Des Fahy, who mentored the team and showed tremendous insight and generosity. One piece of advice: if you find yourself in a court of law in future, hope the indomitable force of Eoin O’Reilly in cross-examination is on your side!
