St Malachy's College, winners of U16 Cool Springs Invitational tournament in Portlaoise on Saturday. Wins over Kestrels from Portarlington and Blue Demons (Cork) set up a semi final tussle v Templeogue from Dublin. After a close first half St Malachy's pulled away in the third quarter to win by 10. Portlaoise Panthers were the opponents in the final and again it was another exciting and entertaining encounter with St Malachy's coming out on top by 8 points. It was a highly enjoyable day!
