On Thursday 25th January the Year 12 Leisure and Tourism students took to the road to learn more about marketing in the world of work.

Their fieldwork took them to Lisburn Leisureplex where they had the opportunity to research the facilities and investigate the marketing strategies.

It was a great afternoon and everyone was very well looked after by Saoirse and Paul. The trip began with a behind scenes tour of the facilities – including the opportunity to wear some very natty blue pool shoes! Then it was back to the meeting room for a very informative question and answer session.

All too soon it was time to go back to school, after a brief stop at KFC (purely for research purposes)!
