The European Day of Languages was celebrated on September 26th. As part of our outreach programme to schools in our local community, Year 13 &14 language students visited Our Lady of Lourdes, Park Lodge and St Thérèse de Lisieux primary schools to teach introductory language classes in French, Spanish and Irish. This went down a treat with the primary school children who were really keen to learn the new languages and it was a great opportunity for our Sixth year students to act as ambassadors for languages too.

Meanwhile, back in the College there were competitions, food tastings, film screenings, music, crêpe making, all giving a great cultural backdrop to the day.
