Past and present art students Ryan McLaughlin and Reuben Hughes ,Year 13, attended the opening of this year’s NBALC Art exhibition in the lovely surroundings of the Duncairn Arts Centre. Work by Ryan Molloy , Year 14, and Leo McPartland ,Year 13, was also on show. The artist Keith Drury, who opened the show, was impressed with the talent and creativity from the students in North Belfast. He highlighted the challenges of becoming a full-time artist but explained how he had left his job in finance to go back to his first passion of painting. The display shows a wide range of artwork including photography, painting and textile work.
