Year 9 Man of the Month - October 2018


9A

Cathal Hegarty is a quietly confident student whose quick wit and friendly manner makes him a well-respected member of 9A. He is a focussed and industrious student who approaches all classwork with determination and enthusiasm. Cathal is a fountain of knowledge who is forever educating 9A with his interesting facts. He is an absolute pleasure in the form class and very deserving of this award.

9B

Eoin Duffy has been nominated for this month’s award due to his excellent work in class as well as his endeavour in extra-curricular activities. He is a very hard working pupil who has achieved a range of positive merits from his teachers for his fantastic work in tests and work in general.

9C

Ronan Mervyn as Man of the Month. Ronan is very deserving of this award. He is an exemplary student in every respect. Ronan is mannerly and considerate towards others. He is often commended by his teachers for excellent effort in class and for outstanding work. He has already been awarded 11 merits this year.

9D

Michael Donnelly has been nominated for the tutor award due to his high standards of behaviour, work, courteous nature, and exemplary merit record.

9E

Fionnbarr O’Loingsigh has been nominated for the tutor award because he is an outstanding representative of what a St Malachy’s boy should be like. He works hard, he is courteous and he participates in all aspects of school life.

9F

John McKay for October man of the month. John has 100% attendance and an exemplary merit record which reflect his maturity and diligence in all aspects of College life.
