To celebrate this year’s Cinemagic International Film & Television Festival for Young People, author Sarah Maria Griffin visited the College to deliver a spooky Creative Writing workshop for the Year 9 students. They were treated to a screening of The Bride of Frankenstein before getting creative and writing about their own monsters!

Sarah Maria Griffin gave the students a wonderful insight into the life of a writer and answered some tricky questions about her favourite books, where her inspiration comes from and what it takes to get work published!

Students left the workshop full of ideas and inspiration for their own writing!
